State Police, issued in Taranto - Nocerina 66 DASPO

The Taranto State Police notified 66 supporters of Nocerina, all residing in Campania, of the DASPO order issued by the Quaestor.

The episodes that led to the issuance of the police measure date back to December 7th and relate to events that took place during the football match held in the Ionian capital between the local football team and Nocerina.

The policemen had intercepted the caravan consisting of eleven private cars on state highway 7, a few kilometers from the entrance to the city. Along the way that leads to the parking lot of the stadium reserved for guest supporters, the Nocera fans had become the authors of the launch of large firecrackers and bottles that only fortunately had not caused serious consequences.

Once they arrived at the sports complex, the same fans, most of whom dressed in the same way and distorted in the face, had tried, with violent ways, to offer resistance to identification. Only after a few excited minutes and after having regularly proceeded with the recognition had they been allowed to enter the sports facility, except for six of them without the regular entrance ticket.

At the end of the meeting, before they left, the agents searched, with many difficulties finding a heated resistance, the cars of the Campanian fans recovering helmets, iron bats, a truncheon, alcohol, smoke bombs and firecrackers of the prohibited kind, all seized.

Given the behavior and in consideration of the material recovered in the cars that made their intentions clear, DASPO was issued for a period of one year against 66 Nocera supporters.
