17 arrested, 208 suspects, 39.921 identified, 192 high penalties and 19 unaccompanied minors tracked down and entrusted to families or communities: this is the balance of checks in the last week of the Railway Police. 3.872 patrols at the station and 1.156 on board the train, for a total of 2.434 escorted trains; 269 ​​anti-pickage services in civilian clothes.

Intensified checks during the week also thanks to the “Active Schield” operation, the initiative which is part of the international police collaboration activity and was organized by RAILPOL, the Association of Railway and European Transport Police, with the objective of activating, at the same time in all the participating countries, preventive checks for travelers and their luggage. 1.588 operators of the Railway Police who attended 642 stations and controlled 1.801 trains. 9.564 were identified, including 39 between arrested and reported and 2.707 checked baggage.

In particular, in Verona the Agents of the Railway Police arrested a XNUMX-year-old Romanian citizen for resistance, injury and violence to a Public Official. The man who was on a Silver Arrow arriving at the station was in an evident state of alteration due to the intake of alcohol and was annoying the travelers. Polfer operators got on board to check the foreigner who, at the sight of the policemen, started to offend them by refusing to be identified. The subject's violent behavior also continued in the office, kicking and knocking an Agent down. The foreigner was then arrested and arrested.

The agents of the Milan Railway Police arrested two drug dealers, a citizen of the Congo and a Nigerian, in the railway station. Polfer Operators noticed in the square in front of the station a man who approached some young people offering them for sale of the amazing substance. The subject then moved away in the direction of a public garden where a young foreigner was sitting on a bench. The latter, after taking a sock concealed from the foliage, extracted two cellophane wrappers from the inside, delivering them to the man who once again moved away. The agents immediately blocked him and had the two wrappers delivered. At the same time other policemen stopped the other foreigner and recovered the sock with 10 other wraps containing marijuana.

A Polfer patrol from Milan Bovisa arrested a 43-year-old Italian citizen for resistance to public officials and injuries, with several precedents for crimes against the person and property, for attacking a train conductor. The man, a week earlier, had attacked another Train Conductor at the Seregno Station (MB). In particular, this asserted that he had invited the traveler to show the travel ticket but, since he did not have one, he invited him to get off the train at the next station. The subject attacked him with kicks and punches and then fled. This time the escape attempt was in vain because the Polfer patrol immediately blocked him.

In Milan Central, three pickpockets, two Bosnian and one Italian, were arrested for theft in competition. The three women wandered in the square in front of the train station, approached a Turkish tourist, and while two of them covered the moves of the accomplice, the latter, with skillful dexterity, opened the bag of the unfortunate. Polfer operators promptly intervened by stopping the crime and arrested the three women.

A Tunisian citizen was arrested for aggravated theft near the Roma Termini station by Polfer staff for stealing a cell phone from a tourist.

The man approached the woman and, after pushing her, took a cell phone out of his coat pocket and then fled. The policemen who witnessed the scene after a short chase, managed to block the Tunisian and retrieve the phone.

A forty-five year old from Burkina Faso was arrested by Polfer agents of Naples for the crime of aggravated theft. The patrol was immediately alerted by RFI's corporate protection personnel to the presence of a suspect on the tracks at the Napoli Traccia plant. Once on the spot, the policemen found a non-EU citizen who, after stealing electrical and pneumatic material from Frecciarossa train components and on the support of the handling of the trains, attempted to escape. The agents then blocked and arrested him. The timely intervention of the Polfer operators has prevented the blocking of railway traffic.

Among the happy ending episodes, the Polfer agents of Roma Ostiense carried out a rescue intervention of a boy who was caught walking and hopping on the quay endangering his own safety and representing a danger, considering the continuous transit of trains. The policemen approached the boy, and after finding that he was not completely in control of himself, they calmed him down and made him safe.

Polfer tracked down a girl at Roma Termini station, coming from Civitavecchia, who had run away from the community where she was visiting a friend in Salerno, known on a social network. Following a report, the young woman had been traced by the staff of the Polfer Subsection of Civitavecchia, who had refreshed her and accompanied her to the Police Offices. After knowing that she would not be allowed to continue the journey to Salerno, the girl gave up. Requested medical intervention, she was taken to Civitavecchia Hospital, but in the afternoon she left the facility to resume the journey. Through video surveillance systems it was then tracked by Polfer operators in Rome Termini.

In Turin, the Polfer agents tracked down an elderly woman who had left the home of her son, following a discussion with the family member. The lady was taken to the police offices and reassured. The elderly woman, of whom it was reported missing, was then entrusted to her daughter because she did not want to be brought back to the family home.
