The State Police of Reggio Calabria has executed 10 precautionary custody orders against subjects resident in the municipality of Rosarno, held accountable, in various capacities, of association for delinquere ex art 416 cpp, robbery, stolen, theft, detention and port of gunpowder, even clandestine.
The complex and complex investigations, coordinated by the Procura della Repubblica di Palmi, were conducted by the Commissariat of PS of Polistena and the Mobile Squad of Reggio Calabria, together with staff of the PS Commissariats of Gioia Tauro, Cittanova, Taurianova, Palmi, Villa San Giovanni and staff of the Siderno Prevention Crime Department.
It all began in March 2017 when the staff of the Volunteers of the Commissariat of PS Polistena (RC) arrested in crime the three responsible for a aggravated robbery perpetrated against a supermarket. On that occasion a pistol with an abraded serial number was also recovered.
The investigation activities also allowed to identify the managers of other 3 robberies occurred during the 2016 and 2017, to the detriment of banks, supermarkets and pharmacies in the territory of the Piana di Gioia Tauro (RC) and in the neighboring province of Vibo Valentia.
Clearly emerged as the robberies were not isolated criminal incidents but were part of a broader association, thus becoming criminal offenses of the criminal association [ex art. 416 co. 1,2,3 and 4 cp].
