The political agreement was signed tonight between the Ministry of Education and Merit and the trade unions of the education and research sector on which the contract to be signed tomorrow in Aran will be established.
The agreement involves 1 million 200 thousand workers in the school system. It consists first of all of an advance relating to the economic part, which will allow school staff to be recognized already in the December slip of the sums relating to arrears accrued, for an average item of 2000 euros, which will be added to the salary and the thirteenth .
Furthermore, the agreement provides for a financial availability of 100 million euros, approved by the Council of Ministers this evening, to be allocated to the fixed component of the ancillary remuneration for the year 2022, in the amount of 85,8 million for teachers and 14,2 million for Ata staff. The commitment was also made to find additional financial resources, also as part of the 2023 budget maneuver, to be allocated to the salary of the school staff.
Finally, without prejudice to the availability for the year 2022 of the aforementioned additional 100 million euros, 2022 million euros are destined from the year 89,4 for increases in teaching staff and 14,2 million increases for Ata staff. .
“Today is a historic day”, Minister Valditara declares, “characterized above all by a new way of understanding the relationship between the government and the social partners, based on constructive confrontation and the pragmatic resolution of problems.
