The State Police of Pordenone dismantles dangerous criminal gang dedicated to predatory crimes in villas and homes in northern Italy: arrested 3 Albanian citizens, seized firearms, found 100 thefts in homes with about 1 million euros of illegal proceeds
A vast operation of the Pordenone State Police has been under way since the early hours of the day and is carrying out arrests and searches in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Lombardy, against the members, all of Albanian origin, of a dangerous specialized criminal gang. in the commission of predatory crimes in villas and homes located in the North-East.
The restrictive measures in prison were ordered by the Pordenone judicial authority against three Albanian citizens, pluri-prejudiced for specific crimes, responsible for 33 aggravated thefts in villas and homes, as well as for other 70 predatory crimes, currently being investigated and attributable to same criminal group, all committed starting from the last pre-Christmas period, mainly in the Provinces of Pordenone and Treviso.
About 1 million euros illicit revenues from cash, jewelry, watches, gold bars, as well as pistols and ammunition in the availability of those arrested, ready to use them even during their evening and night raids in homes. Also identified a flow of these illicit goods transferred to Albania, with reinvestment and recycling in that State.
The investigations coordinated by the Central Operational Service of the State Police were carried out by the Mobile Squad of the Police Headquarters of Pordenone which is carrying out the operations in collaboration with the Mobile Squads of Milan and Treviso, with the PS Commissariat of Conegliano Veneto (Tv) , and the competition of the specialized UOPI units of the State Police and the Crime Prevention Department of Padua.
Details of the operation will be announced during a press conference held for today's 10.30 hours at the Pordenone Police Headquarters.
