Today morning, as part of the detailed investigations of the Digos of the Turin Police Headquarters, coordinated by the local Public Prosecutor's Office, 14 precautionary measures are being carried out, with the collaboration of the Digos of Milan, Bologna, Ravenna, Sassari, Trento, Livorno and Cuneo, against anarchist militants from different territorial contexts made responsible, for various reasons, for the crimes of aggravated resistance to public officials, aggravated injuries, damage and soiling, committed on the occasion of the national demonstration held in Turin last 9 February to protest against the eviction of the “Asilo” social center and to show solidarity with the “libertarians” arrested for subversive association in the context of the “Scintilla” operation.
In particular, n. 3 libertarian militants have been subjected to the measure of custody in prison while other n.11 anarchists of Sassari, Savona, Livorno, Ravenna, Turin, Switzerland, Slovakia and Serbia are instead affected by the precautionary measure of the ban of residence in Turin.
In the same operational context, coordinated by the Central Directorate of Prevention Police, n.17 searches were carried out delegated by the Judicial Authority of Turin, some of which are still in progress.
The investigation refers to the very serious episodes of violence that occurred in Turin on February 9th, during the national demonstration organized a few days after the “Scintilla” operation and the contextual eviction and seizure of the historic “Asilo” social center.
On that occasion, about 500 mobsters, mostly misrepresented, after the procession of about 1000 anarcho-antagonists (from all over Italy and abroad: including France, Spain, Germany and Croatia) had traveled some streets in the center with the The goal of reaching the "Asylum", were responsible, for over two hours, for repeated attacks on the contingents of the Mobile Departments that were made the object of throwing stones, bottles, iron rods, batteries of multiple rockets, exploding artifices of very high potential, with several roadblocks made with overturned garbage bins and set on fire in order to complicate the advancement of the framed departments.
In the circumstance, actions of lightening were made necessary with the use of tear gas during which n.17 police operators were injured.
Following the aforementioned episodes of intemperance, damage to road signs, parked cars (including Enjoy), 4 parking stations for TOBIKE rental bicycles, windows of the headquarters of the Acque Metropolitane Torinesi "SMAT" company, were perpetrated, of the Municipal Police Command, a public GTT tram and the windows of some banks, for a total amount of over 100.000 euros.
The investigations of the State Police have also allowed to identify, through the analysis of the images, and also report other n.9 militant anarcho-antagonists from different territorial contexts (Trento, Cagliari, Turin and France).
It should also be noted that, in conjunction with the episodes of violence perpetrated on the evening of 9 February, other n.11 libertarian militants from Milan, Cagliari, Brescia, La Spezia, Bolzano, Frosinone, Varese and Udine had already been arrested in a flagrant state of flagrant detention and Turin for the crimes of devastation, aggravated resistance to a public official and road blockade.
