A Falcon 10 of the 11 ° Stormo returned from London, on the night between 900 and 31 October, carrying an Italian child of only 2 months in serious health conditions, in need of specialized care at the “Bambino Jesus ”of Rome. The little one, accompanied by his mother, was constantly assisted by a team of doctors during the flight.

The Air Force aircraft departed around 21:20 from London - Luton airportlanded in Rome at one in the morning. The child was immediately transferred aboard an ambulance to the “Bambino Gesù” hospital.

The humanitarian protocol was activated by the Italian Consulate in London, in coordination with the Presidency of the Council, the Prefecture of Rome and the Air Force Summit Situation Room, which ordered the take-off of the aircraft for the transport of the newborn.
