Varata FRANCESCA, sixth CCN 102 'Flyingsport for an American owner

After the launch of the 40m MY Kanga, MY FRANCESCA, the sixth example of the successful CCN 102 'Flyingsport line destined for an American ship owner, has been dropped in the water in recent days.

The 31 meters boat in composite material, is characterized by its flowing lines and expertly combines the comfort of the flying bridge with the sportiness and speed of the large open, in a perfect mix of style and functionality.

The light metallic champagne color gives the hull personality and elegance that is also found in the interior that bear the signature of the designer Tommaso Spadolini, perfect interpreter of the tastes of a shipowner very attentive to design.

The layout is typically American and features a large country kitchen overlooking the main deck. The large windows in the saloon guarantee a lot of light in the room, thanks also to the skylight above the central table, which can be darkened by means of an electronically controlled transparent liquid crystal film. A comfortable custom made sofa completes the main deck.

Classic taste combined with more “daring” solutions for the choice of furnishings, characterized by an alternation and overlapping of different materials. Sycamore wood and oak leave room for glass and satin metal. There is also a wide use of different leathers, supplied by Marine Leather, made with different techniques (woven, smooth, pleated) and played on different shades. For example, the full-beam master cabin on the lower deck features the alternation of dark and lacquered colors with others that are lighter and brighter. The marbled sycamore wood of the walls is interspersed with bright Pierre Frey fabric panels and skilfully combined with the soft colors of the C&C fabrics.

Great attention was given to the choice of furniture, all custom made and wisely designed in lightweight materials to not interfere with the performance of 40 knots of speed required to the boat.

Designed for cruises in tropical areas, the yacht has a large flybridge of over 23 square meters, equipped with a detachable awning in a few minutes and equipped with many amenities such as icemaker, barbecue and an enhanced refrigerator and expressly designed while the interior was designed tropical air conditioning system (248.000 btu).

On board also a very advanced home automation system that integrates the two MTU 16V2000 M96L engines with the modern wheelhouse and all the onboard users.

Another feature, the reduced draft, only 1,20m, allows the fast and safe movement even in the shallow waters, as expressly requested by the Owner.

FRANCESCA hosts a 4.40 m Williams hydrojet Tender.

After a cruise in the Mediterranean, the boat will be presented as a world preview in September at the Cannes Yachting Festival in Cannes from 11 to 16 September.
