Educational trips and educational visits, 50 million for concessions

Requests on Unica until February 15th Valditara: “Tool that promotes equality access to educational opportunities"

Until 15 February 2024 it will be possible to submit the application on the Unica platform to access benefits for educational trips and educational visits, intended for families with low ISEE. This is an allocation of 50 million, made available by the Ministry of Education and Merit for the 2023/2024 school year, for students of state secondary schools.

In particular, the resources allocated will be aimed at supporting families with an Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE) of up to 5.000 euros. According to Ministry estimates, there will be an audience of around 330 thousand potential beneficiaries. The expected single contribution will be 150 euros.

Thanks to a cooperation agreement with INPS, the ISEE will be automatically verified on the Unica platform, simplifying the procedure for families and avoiding an increase in work for school directors and the administrative secretariats of the institutes.

“The experience of educational trips and educational outings represents an important moment in the educational path of students, a contribution to their cultural growth, socialization and enrichment of skills”, declared the Minister of Education of Thanks to Giuseppe Valditara. “This initiative aims to ensure that young people in conditions of economic disadvantage can participate in these fundamental experiences, a tool that promotes equal access to educational opportunities,” added the Minister.
