Whatsapp, delete the sent messages, is now possible

Deleting a message sent via whatsapp was one of the specifics that many users wanted. Often a message, a photograph, or a video already sent has created embarrassment and real incidents of "opportunity". An "I love you" to the wrong person, or the sending of a compromising video were the cause of a trial before a judge. Whatsapp used by hundreds of millions of people around the world has refined, over the years, many specifications such as the possibility of being able to make "clean" phone calls without metallic or disturbed sounds. Deleting sent messages has always been considered a limit, perhaps the only one of a perfect digital communication system. After about a year of rumors, on WhatsApp the possibility is finally coming to delete messages sent by mistake, or which you regretted just pressing the send key. According to the WABetaInfo website, dedicated to the chat application, the news is being distributed on iPhone, Android smartphone and Windows Phone. On a page of the WhatsApp site, the new option is called “Delete messages for everyone”. “It allows you to delete specific messages you have sent to a group or an individual chat”, and it is “useful if you have sent a message to the wrong chat or if the message you sent contains an error”, it reads. To delete a message - be it a phrase, a photo or a video - just select it and tap the trash can symbol, then tap "delete for all". Once done, the recipients will see the message "This message has been deleted". However, the novelty has some stakes: to have second thoughts you will have seven minutes, after which the message can no longer be deleted. The function also requires that senders and recipients have the most updated version of the application. It must also be taken into account that recipients could see the message before it is deleted. Finally, WhatsApp will not send a notification in case the deletion is not successful.
