Bianchi: "Single key education for more inclusive and sustainable societies"

"Education is the only possible key to addressing the global challenges we face and transforming societies by making them more inclusive and sustainable". This was stated by the Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi speaking during the Transforming Education Summit, the summit on Education underway at the United Nations, convened by Secretary General Antonio Guterres at the opening of the UN General Assembly.

"Ua more just society, which puts the fight against current global inequalities, growing gender discrimination, climate change at the center of its action, is built thanks to citizens who are aware of their rights - underlined the Minister -. Education is the way to transform girls and boys into agents of necessary change. Only a real and global change in education systems, which allows all girls and boys to have access to the right to education, can guide us to face the challenges of climate and sustainable growth.".

During his speech during the session 'Transforming Education to transform the world: Empowering global citizens through education for a sustainable future', Minister Bianchi recalled the commitment of our country in this direction, with the transversal teaching of education civica, the Plan for the ecological and cultural transition of schools "School ReGeneration”, But above all the transformation of the Italian education system that the Government is carrying out this year through massive investments and PNRR reforms.
