Today the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Italian Drug Agency, Domenico Mantoan, took office.
"I thank the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza and all the representatives of the Permanent Conference for relations between the State, the Regions and the Autonomous Provinces for having chosen me for such a prestigious and important role for Italian public health", declared the new President. "I will put my knowledge at the service of AIFA, as I have learned in these many years of commitment in the health sector, with the knowledge that the management of the pharma is strategic for the future of our system. It will be an honor - Mantoan concluded - to support the General Manager, the colleagues of the Board of Directors and all the staff of the Agency, committed to guaranteeing patients access to safe, effective and quality medicines ”.
