INPS. Single and Universal Check

The management of applications with non-compliant ISEE and the payment of the check to a minimum extent are postponed to November

The Single Universal Allowance (AUU) is a support measure for families introduced starting from 2022 March 230 by Legislative Decree 2021/XNUMX (and subsequent amendments). The calculation of the monthly amount due is carried out by INPS, taking into account the value of the ISEE (equivalent economic situation indicator).

Compared to a total of over 6,2 million applications presented in the years 2022 and 2023, the presence of ISEE certificates with omissions or discrepancies is - to date - very limited and concerns approximately 66.000 applications. Therefore, we are dealing with just over one percent of the families already benefiting from the allowance who were invited, with Hermes message from the Institute no. 2856 of 1 August 2023, to regularize their position by and no later than next 31 December.

Precisely for this reason – with Hermes message n. 2913 of 8 August - the Institute intended to communicate that the recalculation of the installments of AUU with the minimum amount - similarly to what happens in the absence of ISEE - is postponed to the month of next November, thus guaranteeing the families involved a period of time greater for the regularization of the ISEE, also taking into account the possible difficulties associated with the summer period.

This INPS commitment hinges on an activity that allows the measure to be disbursed to more than 6 million families with almost 10 million children every month.
