MiPAAF: ICQRF harvest Vademecum published for the 2022-2023 campaign

On the occasion of the start of the 2022-2023 wine campaign, the ICQRF harvest Vademecum was published on the website of the Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, where sector operators can find information on the main obligations for companies, reference standards and application provisions.

The Vademecum includes an extensive illustration of the new rules governing oenological practices, together with a section dedicated to the accompanying documents accompanying the transport of wine products, with an attached synoptic table and an illustrative appendix containing cases and methods. of issue.

The ICQRF, as every year, will intensify controls in the wine sector in this period, to prevent and combat behavior that does not comply with the provisions set up to protect the delicate phases of grape harvesting and handling, processing operations and circulation of wine products and by-products. The checks will be carried out throughout the national territory and particular attention will also be paid to products from abroad. Specific emphasis will be placed on road, rail and port controls.

For the purposes of traceability of the cellar and the supply chain, the electronic wine register has been operational since 2017, a fundamental tool not only for controls but also for sector statistics, to the advantage of the entire supply chain. The ICQRF offices remain at the operators' disposal for the smooth running of the harvest.
