Rain induced with drones in the Emirates

In United Arab Emirates they touched i 50 degrees centigrade with a very high rate of humidity, the air was unbreathable. Only the rain would have favored more acceptable living conditions. The creation of artificial rain was successfully tested at a cost of 35 million euros thanks to some drones that were launched inside the clouds and then release electrical discharges to induce them to aggregate and produce precipitation. The success of the futuristic operation was communicated directly by UAE National Meteorology Center complete with images and videos. The technique known as "Cloud seeding" it cost 35 million euros and brought water "On demand" in one of the driest countries in the world with an average rainfall of only 78 millimeters per year. Professor Maarten Ambaum, who worked on the project, said the UAE has enough clouds to create conditions that allow rain through the use of drones. The "Cloud seeding" has demonstrated all its validity and ductility compared to other widely used systems and is able to increase the amount of rain between 5% and 70% according to the quantity and quality of the clouds.

For several years other experiments have been carried out in this sense. The UAE government in 2017 invested several million dollars to bomb cloud densities with missiles fired from aircraft to create rain. The rain "On demand" it was used for the first time in New York in 1946, while in China and other countries around the world it is used very often in the driest areas.
