We are looking at 40 percent at the next polls. A result already achieved in the Europeans and also in the referendum. Little desire to talk about politics and to express oneself 'in politichese', the journey that will touch almost all the Italian provinces is dedicated to listening, not to the election campaign. But the dem secretary, during the first stages of 'Destination Italy', pauses with his team on the game plan, premising that that 40% is used precisely to avoid broad agreements. In Europe the axis is with Macron, "after meeting Obama at the end of the month in mid-November I will be at the Elysée", he confides. This is an axis for growth, to have that fiscal margin and intervene in the next legislature with measures in favor of fifty-year-olds who lose their jobs, to extend the measure of 80 euros to the middle classes, for new incentives for the jobs act, more generally to reduce taxes. In Italy, however, the scheme envisages a clash between three poles: center-right, center-left and M5s. “A quarter would not find space”, Renzi observes, “even if it is foreseeable that a part of the extreme left will still take the field. Fratoianni is waiting to see if he will do it with Montanari or even with Mdp ”.
Renzi, however, insists on the concept expressed in the Pd decade celebrations: the body will be with the centerpiece. For the Democrat Secretary in the electorate's logic, the reason for the vote will be scattered. I at first did not want the coalitions but this law goes in this direction and Grillo seems to me out of the match in the colleges, says the former premier. The pollsters - Renzi notes - give Grillo most of the colleges in Sicily and Campania but this is not the case, they do not consider that this law is like the first round of administrative, M5s will be lower.
The former President of the Council niche to the question of whether to open up to the center-left primary but repeatedly states that he does not want to "stand against anyone." "The PD is open to dialogue with everyone," is the premise. From Mdp they know that a program comparison can also start, but only if it involves discontinuity and a new leadership. Renzi does not respond to the provocations, repeats to be in a zen phase, does not replicate anyone who remembers D'Alema's positions. But the challenge is on content. And it is a challenge that somehow has the taste of revenge after leaving Chigi Palace after the defeat on the referendum. Renzi says nothing about his future, but starting a confrontation with the country, the secretary dem takes on a second chance, defending at the same time a sword deals with every measure he has made by his government. No discussion, however, about names and premier candidates.
