Common policies and action plans, support for new forms of collaboration, crime-fighting strategies, this is the work agenda for the law enforcement representatives, present today at the operational meeting, organized by the Central Directorate of Criminal Police at the High School of the State Police.

At the works table, chaired by the Deputy Chief of Police - Central Director of the Criminal Police, Prefect Vittorio Rizzi, the liaison officers from 23 states that operate in Italy under the coordination of the SCIP (Service for international police cooperation).

Objective of the forum, to restrict the links of security to optimize the instruments to combat transnational organized crime, guaranteeing avant-garde prevention systems above all through the intensification of info-investigative exchanges.

Prefect Vittorio Rizzi, in his speech, emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between all members of the international cooperation network, as representatives of the law enforcement of different countries, in favor of the work done together for security, also through meetings like today's one.

The Prefect Rizzi, at the end of the speech, launched the proposal to establish an association of accredited liaison officers in Italy, to improve mutual knowledge of the world's police systems and to strengthen the ties between the actors of international cooperation of police present in Italy, developing cultural and professional exchanges among its members, facilities policies and best practies.

During the meeting a videoconference connection was also carried out with the SOI (international operations room), a nerve center of operational connection between Italy and the rest of the world.
