They will deploy 6 F-22 interceptors in South Korea

   
The US intends to deploy six stealth F-22 Raptor interceptors in South Korea next month. South Korean sources quoted by the Yonhap press agency say that advanced combat aircraft will take part in a joint aerial exercise scheduled from 4 to December 8, called Vigilant Ace. Aircraft will reach the Korean Peninsula from Kadena Air Base in the Japanese Prefecture of Okinawa. Exercise, which will simulate depth attacks in enemy territory, will also take up to four F-35 fighter bomber.
